It wouldn't be our adoption trip if something didn't go wrong. Our flight this morning to Dulles was canceled. Yes. CANCELED.
So, we are home again.
For another 3-4 hours, then we will try it again. This time flying to Denver then to LA and then on to Beijing. 36 hours without a bed. Arriving in Beijing around 5am on Saturday with a FULL day of sightseeing to do.
Doesn't that sound more like our adoption trip? We make it the hardest possible on ourselves. Okay, our 2nd option for flying was wait until tomorrow and get into Beijing on Saturday late afternoon/early evening and MISS all of the touring on Saturday. We really did not want that either.
Oh well. Gives me time to check up on friends getting referrals, friends having babies, and friends having tests run. :)

AAAH. Were you in tears?? I would have been. So excited for you guys!!
I have a Samuel too!
Oh ((((((Carla))))))! Chin up! It just makes your adoption journey that much more interesting! *wink* BTW, I would have made the same decision. The sight seeing will be your treasure to your little angel as she gets older. You will be able to share the sights, sounds and scents of her beautiful culture and homeland!
Can't wait to for your updates!
Oh my... what a kick in the face that would be... good luck for the next try... you will get there...
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! So sorry you got delayed. Hopefully next one goes off without a hitch. Lots of HUGS and wishes for a wonderful trip, and can't wait to see Katie!
Carla -
I am so sorry to hear about your flight.
Good luck on your next try.
Angie
