For once, a game a checkers...but they've been playing chess against each other all the time. Begging to go to Chess club. I punish them for not doing school work with not going to Chess club. How sad is that?!

Homeschoolers rock! Love that you play chess, too. It was a very funny day when my little 6 yo told his sister-in-law that she was doing an illegal move in chess.
Wish we could join you on the field trip, but we're going to be in Disney World then. (hee hee) I love that a trip to Epcot and Animal Kingdom can be counted as field trips--now to figure out how we can count Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios? Perhaps physics of rollercoasters??
